A Shared Love of Cooking
We met in college in 2009, and quickly discovered our shared passion for cooking. It was the beginning of a beautiful relationship. We’re both engineers, so experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes became a hobby of ours. We’ve had some successes, (shoutout to the eggplant parmesan), and some failures (shoutout to the worst flaming cheese ever). 12 years later we’re still experimenting, still cooking, and enjoying every minute!
What to Expect
We wanted to start this blog to document our cooking journey. We are constantly tinkering with recipes and never write them down! We also have some funny stories - like the time Matt burnt the sauce, and the time Tina almost poisoned Matt with the bad pork chops.
We’ll try to share a variety of recipes, but we both grew up Italian and have so many traditional Italian recipes that we love to cook, so expect a heavy Italian influence. We also love to experiment with flavors, and truly enjoy cooking all day, usually Sunday, so expect some recipes that are more time consuming, but totally worth it, maybe even some smoking. Finally, we love a good dessert, so be on the lookout for cookies, cupcakes, and ice cream.
